Established in 2000, the University of Queensland Business Association (UQBA) seeks to actively facilitate the professional development of University of Queensland business, economics, law and commerce students. Servicing over 2,000 students, UQBA is one of the largest societies of its kind in Australia, providing our members with the corporate and social support they need to thrive at university and in the professional world. The association has a prestigious history of hosting career networking events, recognised by the professional sector as an invaluable means of equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
UQBA prides itself on the immense value offered to corporate sponsors and members alike, with the association ideally positioned to capitalise on the successes of 2017 and further strengthen its corporate portfolio in 2018.
The quality and diversity of our corporate events is a testament to UQBA’s ability to act autonomously and innovatively in the pursuit of providing our members the means to achieve their career aspirations. It remains the steadfast mission of the association to be the connection between students’ university and professional careers by facilitating valuable relationships between our members and sponsor firms.
From our pillar networking events, Professional Pathways and Corporate Connections, to the thought provoking Women in Business Luncheon, insightful Corporate Walkabout and our flagship Marketing Case Competition, UQBA plays a fundamental role in connecting our members with potential employers.
Our members are provided with the opportunity to engage in professional networking with corporate leaders across a variety of industries and professional services.
